HTC One S, the Thinnest Series with Android 4.0 ICS OS

HTC recently introduced the  latest mobile phones, which is HTC One S. The phone is equipped with 4.3-inch, 8 MP camera, microSD slot, Wifi, GPS and Bluetooth.

HTC One S is an  ultra thin Android phone with a thickness of 7.9 mm which powered by  1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor. Using Android 4.0 ICS, this phone also uses Sense 4.0 as well as HTC One X, but the screen is not HD and it's still qHD  960x540 pixels resolution with a width of 4.3 inches.

8 megapixel camera is also equal to One X.  Internal storage is 16GB, and these mobile phone users get 25GB of free cloud storage for 2 years. HTC claims this phone using aluminum body with a touch of Multi-arc oxidation, a similar process to the satellite body finishing.

Solution for those who are interested in One X or XL, but with limited budget. Although not yet known how much price of this HTC's flagship in 2012, but obviously HTC One S going to be a cheap version - as well as a the thinnest "One" series, even the thinnest smartphone ever designed by HTC.

In class, smartphone formerly known with the code name HTC Ville under the flagship One X / XL. But you will not see a significant decrease in performace. One S indeed replaced Tegra 3 or MSM8960 with a Qualcomm MSM8260A chipset, which is actually still one of the Snapdragon S4 family with Krait based processor, and also based on 28nm transistor technology which promising better performance and more efficient batteries. The difference with the MSM8960, does not integrate support for LTE 4G connection. CPU core in HTC One S also operates at 1.5GHz standard speed, making its performance in theoretically equivalent to HTC One XL.

Samsung Galaxy Beam introduced on the world's biggest phones show, Mobile World Congress (MWC) in 2012 which was held in Barcelona, Spain. This device is an Android smartphone with projector capabilities.

Galaxy Beam is the successor to Samsung Beam, Samsung's first phones which equipped with a projector. Galaxy Beam Specifications certainly better than its predecessor who attended at the MWC 2010. As well the appearance, which more attractive.

15 lumens projectors in Galaxy Beam is located at the top of the phone body. This mini projector can transmit display of 50-inch to various surfaces. Images that appear said with high-definition, although not mentioned how much the resolution.

Nokia gave a surprise at the World Mobile Congress 2012 in Barcelona, Spain, for the photography and cell phones, on Monday (2/27/2012). Nokia launched its latest product, which is Nokia PureView 808, which carries Carl Zeiss camera with 41 megapixel optics sensor.

Nokia PureView 808, which Symbian Nokia Belle based is launched with other two types Nokia phone, which is Lumia smart phone series and cellular Asha series. The launch conducted by the President & CEO of Nokia, Stephen Elop, Nokia Executive Vice President Smart Devices Jo Harlow, along with several other  Nokia executives.

Nokia is exclusively using Carl Zeiss camera in its products. In addition to Carl Zeiss camera, Nokia complement PureView with wide sensor and processor, to produce very high resolution images.

 Nokia Vice President Product Marketing Smart Devices, Ilari Nurmi, say, with high image quality, Nokia want to spoil mobile phone  consumers that has a photography hobbies. "You can see  objects which previously unseen in your photo with zoom in, without losing image quality," said Nurmi.

PureView will be marketed in the second or third quarter of 2012, PureView priced at 450 Euros. Besides images, Nokia PureView 808 also spoil customers with personal Dolby surround sound effects for video.

From China iPad 3 Ready to released in the U.S.

After the latest Apple tablet rumors form spread, the latest news is now re-emerged. According to a leaked document, iPad 3 was ready to leave the Foxconn factory, its manufacture in China to the United States.

This claim is obtained from Apple Pro blog which also get information about the document delivery this Apple's latest tablet. Disclosed, iPad 3 will arrive in the United States at the latest on next  March 9th, two days after the date of the launch who reportedly on March 7th.

Reported by Tech Radar, Tuesday (02/28/2012), the document also reveals that the delivery will conducted in three major airports in the U.S. for more easily distribute them.

Combining two assumptions, it seems not excessive to indicate that similar as last year, iPad 3 will go on sale in the U.S. approximately one week after the launch date.

About the specifications, previously the latest iPad photos are outstanding and have not confirmed Apple, according to Mashable, the looks similar to the ipad 2. But Apple Daily reported that the iPad 3 will have A6 quad core processor and has capability Long Term Evolution (LTE).

Apparently, it's not too different from the last report, which mentions that the iPad 3 will provides much more glorious appareance with the Retina Display, A5X processor or faster A6 and support LTE and a camera that has a larger sensor.

So, with the additional features on this tablet, it looks like Apple products fans have to be willing spend more money. Speculation says, the basic price for iPad 3 would eventually be USD 579 not USD 499 which is currently users paid for iPad 2 16 GB (WiFi).

Skype Finally Landed on Windows Phone

After waiting for long enough, finally, now Windows Phone (WP) users could begin to try Skype. Microsoft and Nokia, have collaborated to deliver  Skype experience which unique for WP platforms.

This Skype beta version can be downloaded since yesterday (2/26). While for the full version, the user must wait until the launch in April.

Unfortunately, Skype only available for WP 7.5 users and newly supports English version. According to Mashable, like the other versions, Skype for Windows Phone beta allows users to make free audio and video calls over 3G, 4G and WiFi.

Before its launch, Microsoft which bought Skype in May 2011 had confusing the user with a delay of the launch of this application.

In early January when Skype for WP is delayed, supposedly because Microsoft and Nokia do a thorough integration functions into the core operating system.

For the best performance of Skype for this WP, according to the application's official blog are at Nokia Lumia 710, Nokia Lumia 800, HTC Titan, HTC Radar, Samsung  Focus S and Samsung Focus Flash.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Reviews

Surprisingly, Samsung announced the presence of Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, whereas, instead previously widely heard introduce Galaxy Tab 2 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in 2012. So how did the ability of this new Galaxy Note?

HTC Prepare 3 Android 4.0 Phones at MWC 2012

Google Return Upgrade Docs on Android

Google return doing a massive upgrade to the Google Docs Android version. This time with the added function of collaborative editing and rich text as found in the desktop version.

The update for the Android smartphones and tablets were launched several time ago, after Google adding offline capabilities for mobile applications. Collaborative elements provided by this upgrade allows a team to work together in real time, on a single document.

"We bring a collaborative experience from Google Docs on desktop to your Android device," wrote Google software engineer, Vadim Gerasimov in a blog post.

The new version of Google Docs for Android also includes other Other famous feature. A new pinch-to-zoom feature make it easier to focus on a particular paragraph or zoom out to see the document as a whole.

As reported by ZDNet, today (02/25/2012), these mobile software now included rich text format, bring something by the desktop users regarded as the basic options, such as bold, font or text color, and create a bullet-point on the list.

Angry Birds Space Trailer Circulating On the Internet

Angry Birds Space expected to be present in IOS, Android, Mac and PC on next March 22nd. Since now, Rovio incentively promote the arrival of Angry Birds Space, one of them is with release the video game trailer.

Combined with the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) video's, the video that only lasted 37 seconds seems to have been deliberately released to make the Angry Birds fans more curious. In promoting the latest version of this game, Rovio is working with NASA.

Sony launched Android 4.0 ROM for Xperia

Owner of several Sony Xperia phones on the market, such as Arc S, Neo V, and Ray, will heard the good news. This smart phone  users now have the opportunity to taste the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Reported by Slash Gear on Friday (02/24/2012), Sony is offering early access for ROM  official software (read only memory) Ice Cream Sandwich beta version. ROM is not limited for developers and beta users who have been selected. Everyone can download and embed it into their own smart phones.

However, Sony recommended that only advanced developers preferably using the software. This could mean that, there is no help if it is something bad happen after uses the software.

In order to use the  ROM beta version,  user needs to use the official bootloader from Sony. Using a bootloader of course means voiding the warranty.

Reported by Android Community, users only need familiar with the ADB and fastboot to get the ROM and run it, and for currently, there is no Google Apps can be gained. This means no Gmail, no YouTube, and so forth. Sony has not clearly stated whether the Android Market will be included in it, but if you're worried, you should wait for a while.

Motorola and Google sued by Microsoft

Microsoft, through the official blog announced they had filed lawsuit for Motorola Mobility and Google to the European Commission. At the post who written by Microsoft vice president, Dave Heiner claims that Microsoft filed this complaint because Motorola does not offer its patent regarding watching web video with reasonable terms to other companies who want to use it.

Whereas, Microsoft claims that Motorola and other companies that hold patents for video standard, promises to provide a patent with a fair deal.

In the postings, Heiner wrote:''Motorola broke their promise. Motorola is on its way to use standard patents that are essential to murder video on the web, and Google as the new owner of the Motorola do not look want to changing the course.''

Microsoft said that Motorola does not offer their patents fairly. For example, from a laptop valued U.S. $ 1000, Motorola  demanded patent royalty for $ 22.5 per laptop for 50 patents owned in terms of standard video.

Microsoft claims that,  other 29 companies including them, holding a total of more than 2300 patents, which required to run the video standard only asks 2 cents per laptop for$ 1000.

Apple App Store Deceived by fake Pokemon Yellow

Transformers game Sequel Released End of 2012

High Moon Studios, Transformers video game developer has launched a preview or trailer game sequel Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. The game is rumored to be release at the end of 2012.

As reported Totallygn, Tuesday (21/02/2012), Transformers: Fall of Cybertron game tells the story of the battle between the two side, the Autobots and the Decepticons to dominate and take over the Cybertron planet.

There are two campaign modes that can be selected the gamer to play the game, choosing as the Autobots or Decepticons colony. Told that the Decepticons controlled about 99.9 percent of the  Cybertron territory. Game developers will create a storyline that shows the journey of each colony.

Each robot character in the game have different capabilities. For example, the Jazz character can cast hook to cross from one place to another, the Cliff Jumper character can make himself invisible, so it can conduct a guerrilla attack (stealth) without being detected by the enemy, and Optimus Prime has the ability to destroy enemy targets with air strikes.

Through the preview or trailer video game Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, visualization and animation seemed moves smoothly, it indicates the readiness of developers in designing the gameplay and graphics that will be played.

Sources said, even still uncertain what kind of this game mode, but there is news that the game can be played in multiplayer mode, and the selection of the  characters type such as Titan, Infiltrator, Scientist, and Destroyer.

Android Jelly Bean optimized for Tablet and Netbook

Android Ice Cream Sandwich has only one percent of market share, but Google seems to be on the verge of releasing a replacement. Recent rumors that the next release of Android 5.0 or Jelly Bean will be unveiled in the second quarter of this year.

According to DigiTimes sources, on Tuesday (2/21/2012), quoting from a source manufacturing partners in Taiwan, Android 5.0 Jelly Bean will bring further optimization for larger screen devices, tablet and netbook computers.

One of the key features from the upcoming release of Android will be its ability for dual-boot Chrome OS. Cloud-based platform is still struggling to make a big impact and Google obviously plans to use Android which very popular to change it.

Dual-boot will also make easier Android 5.0 Jelly Bean entered the market with computer makers. Given the popularity of  Asus  Transformer Prime, there may be a niche for ultrabook with extremely long battery life and good performance, even if they do not run regular desktop OS.

We have to wait and see. Android could be announced when the Google I / O will start and if the developers of Android 5.0 Jelly Bean announcement will happen in Q2.

iPad 3 Using the A5X Chip?

Apple is expected to bring better processor and the graphics for the iPad 3. The assumption, A4 processor in iPad followed by the A5 in the iPad 2, so iPad 3 shall  using the name of A6 processor. But, if this below picture is correct, that assumption was wrong.

A post on the Mandarin language forum, WeiPhone showing a photograph from what is claimed as iPad 3 logicboard, showing the system in-a-chip (SoC) called A5X. A data code 1146 is allegedly a sign that the chips are manufactured in week 46th of 2011, which is between November 14th to 20th.

Some other features seen on this logicboard, 16GB flash memory from Hynix and Apple chips square shaped. This chip seems is a chip to manage power more efficiently than the previous iPad.

Samsung Galaxy S III Screen Possibility Not HD

A leaked document from the User Agent Profile (UAProf) shows some information about the handset to be released, including one of them is the screen resolution of Samsung Galaxy S III. According to these leaks, Samsung Galaxy S III will not  HD 720p screen, but ''only'' 1024 x 600 pixels with 16:9 aspect ratio.

Of course, this leaks could be right or could be wrong because before its release, Galaxy Nexus is said to have resolution of 480 x 800 pixels and then as we know if the information is incorrect. In addition about the screen which not reach HD, the leak also shows other specifications of the Galaxy S III which enough to make middle-class laptop inadequate.

Samsung infuse 4G is the latest example of the trend toward large-screen smart phone. Carrying 4.5-inch wide touch screen technology with the support of Super Amoled WVGA resolution 800 × 480, accelerometer, gyroscope and proximity sensors as well as using the TouchWiz 3.0 UI. This phone is included in one of the thinnest phones ever, which only has a thickness of 8.99 mm.

Samsung infuse 4G running on Android Froyo OS and powered by 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor which paired with 512 MB RAM. With a machine like this, it is certain that this cool gadget has a dazzling performance. But unfortunately that,  theis Samsung infuse 4G was not using the dual-core processors such as the LG Optimus 3D.

 8MP main camera equipped with flash and can record with HD quality. secondary camera has 1.3MP resolution that serves as a video call. Like Samsung Galaxy Tab, Samsung infuse 4G did not have a camera button. The only way is by accessing the camera menu and then tapping on the screen when you want to take pictures or record a video. As usual, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS, Proximity Sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack also included by Samsung.

Unfortunately, this phone has some drawbacks, such as:

• There is no 1080p video recording despite having a same camera unit as S2 Galaxy

HTC Endeavor (HTC ONE X) Specifications Leakage

After it was changed its name to HTC Endeavor, HTC's new phone was renamed again. Earlier, we know this phone is the HTC Edge, also had introduced to the market with the HTC Supreme. HTC seem to be using the  Supreme name for the labels another phone's name, which is likely to be used for dual-core mobile, Ville.

As mentioned earlier, it seems HTC Endeavor will be introduced under the name HTC One X at the MWC 2012. It is known from HTC subcontractor's URL in Denmark, htc-one-x.dk, which is likely to be the site of this phone in the future.

Interestingly, last year we also got to know HTC One, which is a concept phone that has an unique design that also functions as an alarm clock if it is placed in landscape mode. But HTC One X that we know today is a phone with quad-core Tegra 3 processor,  4.7 inch HD screen and 8MP camera. Based on RUU that was leaked a few days ago, HTC X One will come with Sense 4.0 and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

CMAS, Alert Notification Messaging

Natural disasters that occurred several times in many parts of the world often took the lives are not a few in number. This happens because many people are unaware of the approaching danger. HTC Speak, New Siri Competitor?

Rovio reluctant to make Angry Birds BlackBerry version

Angry Birds exists in almost all smartphones,  except BlackBerry. And Rovio has its own reasons why reluctant to make a version for this Research in Motion mobile phone.

Indeed, until now Angry Birds can be played on almost any platform. Android, iOS, Symbian, Windows Phone and computer, even also available for Playbook. But not for BlackBerry phones.

Google succeed acquisition Motorola Mobility

Google  desire to acquire Motorola Mobility which produce Motorola  smartphone finally approved by the U.S. Department of Justice and the European Commission. BlackBerry 10 Challenge iPad & Galaxy Tab

 In Competition smartphone and tablet, Research In Motion (RIM) expressed confidence in the long term future of the company. Revealed by new RIM Chief Executive, Thorsten Heins that the latest generation of software for BlackBerry smartphone ready to compete.

Motorola GLEAM+, New Flip Mobile Phone from Motorola

Motorola recently announced their new mobile phone, Motorola GLEAM+. The phone has slim design and attractive features and will be launched in March.

Motorola GLEAM+ has an interface that is easy to operate with a good screen viewing. The phone is equipped by 2.8-inch LCD screen with 400x240 pixel dimensions. There is also a LED matrix display that serves as a phone call and SMS notifications. As reported by Techtree.

Motorola GLEAM+ has a specification such as the GSM 900/1800 (WE) GPRS class 12, 2 MP camera, FM Radio, 3.5 mm jack, supports microSD (up to 16GB), 50MB Internal memory, MP3 audio playback, MIDI, WAV, Bluetooth connectivity, USB 2.0 and 750 mAh battery.

BlackBerry Playbook OS 2.0 Reviews

Several time ago RIM  has been promising  for updating BlackBerry Playbook OS 2.0 . And  RIM committed to launch Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 on February 17th. It looks like RIM hopes that Playbook update could increase the  tablet sales which had collapsed.

BlackBerry  Playbook OS 2.0 Update will present a new e-mail client along with calendar and contact application that integrates with LinkedIn. In addition, some improvement can also be found in BlackBerry Bridge.

From the outside, there's nothing different between the BlackBerry Playbook and the first generation of operating systems, QNX, with the BlackBerry Playbook OS 2.0 the screen is still a 7-inch, black base color, and clean from buttons on the front.

When the screen lights up, then feel the difference. User interface on the new platform presents a special widget at the top for favorite applications, or the most frequently used. Thus, users doesn't need to bother looking commonly used features.

Unfortunately this improved  platform has not been possible for BlackBerry Playbook OS 2.0 connect with Android Market. But, when see BlackBerry App World , has been available some popular applications in the Android market , such as Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, Groupon, Thomson Reuters, Zinio, and so forth.
