Galaxy Tab 2, Samsung's First Tablet with Android 4.0

Samsung launched again the Galaxy Tab variant, this time, the South Korean vendors introduce Galaxy Tab 2, a 7-inch tablet.

Galaxy Tab 2 is the first Samsung tablet that uses Android 4.0 operating system or Ice Cream Sandwich. With 1 GHz dual core processor. The tablet will be available in Wi Fi  only and 3G/Wi Fi.

"Galaxy Tab 2 will be encouraging users to experience multimedia and efficient communication," said JK Shin, President of IT & Mobile Communications Division of Samsung Electronics.

Galaxy Tab 2 key specifications is a Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0 port, 802.11 b / g / n connectivity, Wi-Fi Direct, 4000mAh Li-ion batteries, 1 GB RAM, microSD slot, and 8 GB/16 GB/32 GB storage. 3-megapixel rear camera resolution and there is front camera for video calling.

Quoted from Toms Guide, Monday (02/13/2012), this tablet could also used to call. Available Samsung typical services, such as Samsung Hub and messaging chatOn services. There are also AllShare services to play multimedia content from other devices.

Galaxy Tab 2 scheduled to go on sale globally in March 2012. The price range has not been mentioned.
