Google Return Upgrade Docs on Android


Google return doing a massive upgrade to the Google Docs Android version. This time with the added function of collaborative editing and rich text as found in the desktop version.

The update for the Android smartphones and tablets were launched several time ago, after Google adding offline capabilities for mobile applications. Collaborative elements provided by this upgrade allows a team to work together in real time, on a single document.

"We bring a collaborative experience from Google Docs on desktop to your Android device," wrote Google software engineer, Vadim Gerasimov in a blog post.

He added, "You will see updates in real time along another person typing on a PC, computer tablet and the phone belongs to them, and you just use the document to be involved there."

The new version of Google Docs for Android also includes other Other famous feature. A new pinch-to-zoom feature make it easier to focus on a particular paragraph or zoom out to see the document as a whole.

As reported by ZDNet, today (02/25/2012), these mobile software now included rich text format, bring something by the desktop users regarded as the basic options, such as bold, font or text color, and create a bullet-point on the list.
