Google Rumored Will Open Online Store for Selling Tablet

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Google plans to open an online store that sells  tablet PC directly to consumer. Quoting a source, this online store eventually will offer a tablet are made by Samsung Electronics and Asustek Computer, which is certainly based on Google's operating system, Android.

Google till now still refusing to give their comments. As is known, Google currently relies on retail and operator partners to sell the Android smartphone which made by various handset manufacturers.

Currently, Android has become number one smartphone in the world, competing with its rival, Apple. However, Apple still dominating the market for touch-screen tablet with iPad.

Google might be able to sell its brand partners tablet through their shop and have been considering the price of tablets in the future to create more competitive with Kindle Fire. As we know, Amazon.com sells Kindle Fire for U.S. $ 199, but this device has a customizable interface and not use too many Google services.

But, even is rumored will be opening their own shop, according to the Journal report, is unclear when Google plans to start it.
