Rovio's Angry Birds park soon opened next month. Finland was chosen to be the first have this official Angry Birds park. No wonder because Rovio, the creator of this popular game comes from these country.
Located in Sarkanniemi Amusement Park, Finland, Angry Birds parks will opened on last April. This is Rovio first step to build an Angry Birds park in several countries, after success with game sales and a variety of merchandise from these angry birds characters.
Rovio goal creates this park is for the Angry Birds fans, especially amongst children who can have some fun while doing various sporting activities.
Peter Vesterbacka as Rovio Chief Marketing Officer says, Angry Birds park also aims to help reduce the obesity rates on children.
"There are big problem in western countries where most children spend their time playing games in front of computer or watching TV. We think we can make exercise and learning activities more fun," he said.
Interestingly, by trying a variety of games and rides here, visitors can feel the feature of Angry Birds mobile game version. Yes, Rovio is trying to integrate digital world with reality.
Angry Birds themed park in fact already exist in China. But this is not an official Angry Birds park that gets Rovio license. Rather than sue the owner of the park, Rovio instead invited to partnered with their company.
