Angry Birds Launched into Space with NASA

A video of astronauts playing real-life version of Angry Birds Space at an altitude of 240 miles above the earth has become a highlight on the internet. International Space Station flight engineer from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) describes the physical characteristics in space with props from the Angry Birds game.

"I want to do a physical demonstration from several things that you might see in the game," said Don before drawing a pig icon, which is the enemy of angry birds.

Then, with Don statement, NASA has been involved in launching of Angry Birds Space that seeks to educate the children. "This collaboration began with a simple exchange of birds and pigs in space and grow into a remarkable range, as well as opportunities for education," said David Weaver, a spokesman for NASA as reported by the Daily Mail, Today.

"The game not only fun and entertaining, but also inspiring and informative. This is an exciting way to get people involved with the NASA exploration and discovery mission, as well as get the spirit of the students about future careers, science and technology, "he added.

Meanwhile, Peter Vestebacka from Rovio said that their company wants to create something that is unique for launch of the game. "NASA has become the perfect partner for Angry Birds Space program and we look forward to working with them, and make education more attractive," Veterbeacka explains.

Angry Birds Space will be available on March 22nd has 60 levels, new characters and use the gravity pull from nearby planets to make the game more interesting.
